Anjolii Diaz, Ph.D.<\/a><\/h1>\n

Dr. Diaz is an assistant professor of Psychological Science. She is a developmental psychologist with a background in infant and child behavioral and physiological development. Through the use of various methodologies (e.g. EEG, ECG, Actigraphy, observations, and questionnaires), her research program focuses on the role of temperament (individual difference in emotion regulation and emotion reactivity) and executive functioning in developing social competence and academic achievement throughout development. She is also interested in exploring how parenting and culture might influence these associations.<\/p>\n

Lab Manager: Ana J\u00falia Mour\u00e3o (she\/her)<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ana Julia is a second-year student in the Psychological Science Master\u2019s program at Ball State University. She currently serves as the lab manager for Dr. Diaz\u2019s PACE Lab and as a graduate assistant for Dr. Holtgraves in the Communication Lab. Her research interests include emotion regulation, cognitive functions, and sleep. More specifically, she is interested in how sleep impacts emotional health. After obtaining her master\u2019s degree, Ana Julia plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Neuropsychology. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her friends, reading, and doing outdoor activities.<\/p>\n

Graduate Assistant: Cheyenne McIntyre (she\/her)<\/h3>\n

\"\"Cheyenne (she\/her) is a first-year master\u2019s student in the Clinical Psychology program at Ball State University, having previously earned her HBSc from the University of Toronto. She currently serves as a graduate assistant in both Dr. Diaz\u2019s PACE Laboratory and in Dr. Lee\u2019s P2 Laboratory. Her research interests centre on psychopathology outcomes among youth in marginalized communities, with a particular focus on the role of resilience. In the future she plans to continue her studies in doctoral programs in Clinical Psychology. Outside of the lab, Cheyenne enjoys baking and curling up with a good book.<\/p>\n

Macy Rieman Neff, B.S. (she\/her)<\/h3>\n

Macy is a dual degree student in the Clinical Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling Master\u2019s programs at Ball State University. She currently works as a graduate assistant in the VPAA office. Macy\u2019s research interests include emotion and cognition. Specifically, Macy is interested in how various emotions can influence college students and their academic success. In her free time, Macy likes to grow plants, bake cookies, and try new recipes!<\/p>\n

Catherine is a fourth-year undergraduate student at Ball State University who is double-majoring in psychology and sociology. She plans to pursue a Ph.D. in a psychology-related field of study after graduation, which would further her career goal of becoming a researcher and educator. Catherine’s research interests involve emotions and their relationship with human behavior, especially academic performance. In her free time, Catherine enjoys crocheting, doing jigsaw puzzles, and having movie nights with her friends!<\/p>\n
