Alexandria Archer is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology M.A. program. She received her B.A. in Criminology and Psychology (w/High Distinction) from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. Broadly, Alexandria’s research interests focus on externalizing behaviors, such as antisocial behavior, aggression, and psychopathic traits, with particular attention to how gender socialization and belief systems influence these outcomes. She is especially interested in honor ideology, precarious manhood, and how norms surrounding toughness, retaliation, and emotional expression shape aggressive and impulsive responses across developmental and social contexts, including schools, communities, and the criminal justice system.
