Arash Assar is a first-year graduate student in the Clinical and Quantitative Psychology Master programs at Ball State University. Arash received his M.S. in Kinesiology & Health with a concentration in sport psychology. His research interests include self-compassion and mindfulness-based interventions’ therapeutic capacity in managing anxiety and stress reactivity, perfectionism, and sleep disturbance in both athlete and non-athlete populations. After he graduates, he plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with the long-term goal of becoming a Professor and Clinical Sport Psychologist. Link to CV
