I joined the lab as a MSc student in summer 2023. Before joining the lab, I earned my BSc from Texas Tech University where I also did independent research in an eDNA lab. During the past three summers, I worked as a marine biologist for the Coastal Marine Education and Research Academy in Clearwater, FL looked into migration and habitat use of elasmobranchs. Very broadly, I am interested in factors affecting distribution patterns and habitat use of coastal fish.

My current research focuses on the distribution and importance of coastal and marine recreational fishing, and climate change effects on the distribution of marine recreational fishes.
