I joined the Venturelli Lab as a MSc student in Fall 2024. I graduated from Butler University with my BSc in biology in 2011. During my time at Butler University, I interned and worked at the Indianapolis Zoo as a Conservation Educator where my love for ecology, conservation, and teaching deepened significantly. In 2013, I became a middle school teacher and taught 7th and 8th grade science and high school biology for 10 years. My interests are in ecology and conservation with a focus on invasive species.
My current research involves validating connectivity networks created from an angler smartphone application against interview-based networks for major waterbodies in Illinois.
