Michael was a masters student of Physics in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Ball State University.  His masters thesis concentrated on two β Lyræ systems which was successfully defended November, 2017.

Michael is an avid science fiction reader, and connoisseur of the finer spirits of Scotch with aspirations of visiting legendary island of Islay, Scotland.
