Seth is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Exercise Science at Ball State. He will be helping with chemical synthesis of various open-chain analogues and probes to explore biology for drug discovery.
Dillon is currently an undergraduate student majoring in Biology at Ball State. He will be helping with setup of our in-house protocols for cell culture and cytotoxicity assays while receiving training in organic synthesis.

On June 8, 2021, Kwabena presented our research on two more synthetically accessible “4-in-1” open chain analogues of ipomoeassin F to the Medicinal Chemistry division at the 2021 ACS GLRM meeting (American Chemical Society Great Lake regional meeting, virtual). He was recognized as one of the three Student Presentation Award winners. Congratulations!

Nathan is currently a senior undergraduate student majoring in Chemistry at Ball State. After conducting some research in biological sciences, he now also wants to get some hands-on experience in organic synthesis and medicinal chemistry. Together with another undergraduate student, he will help synthesize a monosaccharide intermediate derived from glucose.
