Brayden Terrell (he/him) is an accelerated master’s student in the Clinical Psychology M.A. program at Ball State University. He is completing his undergraduate degree in Psychological Science with minors in Psychology of Human Development and Social Work while beginning his first year of graduate study.
This is his first semester in the P2 Lab. Brayden’s research interests focus on adolescents and young adults, particularly in relation to risky behaviors and their connections to negative health outcomes. He has examined topics including familial functioning, perceived social support, and substance use, and is currently working on a project exploring adverse childhood experiences and their links to adolescent substance use. He aspires to earn a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and pursue a career as a licensed clinical psychologist, with a focus on juvenile rehabilitation.
In his free time, Brayden enjoys spending time with loved ones, long-distance running, weightlifting, and practicing Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
