Faith Miramontes (she/her) is a Senior at Ball State University studying Psychology with minors in Psychology of Human Development and Interpersonal Relations. This is Faith’s second year working in the P2 Lab, and she will be assisting Colette Delawalla with her thesis examining emotionally-based impulsive behavior. Last year Faith collected data for a project that investigated the connection between demoralization and college students’ risky drinking behavior. Faith is excited to be gaining hands-on experience in a research setting, and gaining knowledge that prepares her for graduate school..

 

Once Faith completes her undergraduate degree, she plans to obtain a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology and hopes to  become a licensed counselor. Her ultimate goal is to provide mental health services to children and young adults. In her free time, Faith enjoys painting, doing yoga, baking (especially cherry pies) and spending time with her friends and family.
